The MCC/Uratta Road in the Owerri Capital City of Imo State has been experiencing massive construction away from its previous deplorable state, which had exerted untoward hardship on the residents and road users.
A statement released by Hope Media and Electronic Centre stated that the contractor handling the project has continued to deliver quality work at a steady pace. The dual carriage road now has an effective drainage system to curb erosion control.
Upon completion, the rehabilitation of this road would improve economic activities and urban development from the Headquarters of Owerri North LGA to Owerri Metropolis.
The project is one of the landmark signatures of the aggressive Urban Renewal programme of the Shared Prosperity administration of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma. The programme is geared towards restoring the beauty of Imo State and improving on its economic activities.
