Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has embarked on massive transformation of the Imo State Sports Commission.
A statement from Hope New Media Electronic Centre reads:
“His Excellency, Governor Hope Uzodimma has continued to match his words with action as the Imo State Sports Commission receives an impressive turnaround with access road reconstruction and improved sporting equipment.
“The twin indoor sporting facility is built to accommodate a large number of sports enthusiasts while grooming athletes for self-reliance on sporting events across the nation and the world over. This skill improving avenue is geared towards complimenting the Shared Prosperity administration’s job creation drive.
It is expected that upon completion, the facility would be able to host some indoor Sporting Events where sports lovers would proudly fly the State high, as well as attract more hospitality activities in the State, in line with the State Government’s developmental drive.
