Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has continued to receive accolades and commendation from eminent Imolites on the conferment of award as Governor of the year by SUN Newspapers.
The Editorial Board of SUN Newspapers had at the weekend at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos, conferred the Governor of the year award on Governor Hope Uzodimma, for his outstanding performance thus far in restructuring Imo State despite challenges confronting his administration.
In a statement in Owerri and made available to INNONEWS, the President, Global Prolife Alliance, Prof (Dr) Philip Njemanze, congratulated the Governor on the meritorious award.
He said Governor Uzodimma deserves commendation for his performance, despite the legacy of destruction, particularly in the area of roads former Governor Rochas Okorocha
Njemanze wrote “My Governor congratulations on your winning the SUN Governor of the year.
“I am proud of your contributions and commend you for your strides in the very difficult security situation in Imo State and the repairs of the dilapidated roads, no thanks to the legacy of the Rochas destruction of Imo State”
