Former Speaker, Five Imo Assembly Members Seek APC Ticket For Reps Seat

About six members of Imo State House of Assembly, including a former Speaker, Rt Hon Paul Emeziem, is in the race for House of Reps seats in Imo State.

Emeziem, who was impeached as Speaker of the House, is seeking the APC ticket for Okigwe North, currently occupied by Hon Miriam Onuoha.

Two female two State lawmakers, Ngozi Obiefule and Uju Onwudiwe, are said to be in the race for the APC ticket for Nkwerre/Njaba/Isu/Oru West Federal Constituency.

Hon Arthur Egwim, is eying the Reps seat for Ideato North and South, while Hon Uche Ogbuagu, is working hard to secure the party’s nomination for Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Federal Constituency.

Hon Michael Onyemaechi Njoku, member representing Ihitte/Uboma LGA, is seeking the party’s nomination to represent Obowo/Ehime Mbano /Ihitte Uboma Federal Constituency.

This is reports circulated online that a total of 39 aspirants have secured the APC Nomination and Expression of Interest Forms, to jostle for 10 House of Reps seat in Imo State.
