Former Secretary to Imo State Government, Uche Onyeagocha, has defeated Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi, in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Primary election for Owerri zone Senate ticket.
In the primary election held in Owerri, Onyeagocha polled 134 votes to Onyewuchi’s 110 votes to emerge winner of the contest.
Another contestant, Basil Maduka polled 64 votes.
