‘There Is No Confusion In Imo APC Over S/Court Judgment’- Party Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Imo State, Hon Greg Onuoha, has reacted to the Supreme Court judgment which reinstated Mr. Dan Nwafor, as Chairman of Imo APC.

The Supreme court had on Friday ruled in favour of Mr. Nwafor, as State Chairman of the party.

Mr.Nwafor had challenged his removal as State Chairman of the party and claimed that the Appeal Court had ruled that he is reinstated

Onuoha described the judgment of the nation’s apex court as time bad, because the tenure of Nwafor had since elapsed and expired.

“The judgment is time bad, because Nwafor’s tenure has since elapsed. The Supreme Court ruling is not binding on the present State Executives led by Mr. Ebere.

“There is no basis for panic among aspirants in our party, because the State Executives is not saddled with the responsibility of conducting ongoing party primaries in the State. All primaries are conducted by the national leadership of the party” he said.
