Business mogul, Prince Alex Mbata has emerged the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Owerri zone.
Mbata polled 425 votes, to emerge winner of the primary election held at the State Secretariat, Owerri, ImoState capital.
Other contestants such as Dr (Mrs) Betty Akeredolu polled 21 votes, Jerry Chukwueke 14 votes, Kemdi Opara 3 votes and void votes 8.
