Okorocha, Bakare,Nnamani, Others Reportedly “Disqualified” From APC Presidential Primary

There are strong indications that former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, and others did not make the “safe list” of presidential aspirants cleared to contest the APC presidential primary.

John Oyegun, Chairman, APC Presidential Screening Commitee, had said in Abuja on Friday, that 13 presidential aspirants were cleared to contest the party primary.

He said 10 aspirants were not cleared.

It is unclear if the 10 uncleared aspirants will take part in the Presidential primary scheduled to begin on Monday.

According to Sahara Reporters, those not on the safe list are: Rochas Okorocha, Tunde Bakare, Ben Ayade, Sani Yerima, Ken Nnamani, Ikeobasi Mokelu, Dimeji Bankole, Felix Nicholas, Robert Borrofice and Uju Ken Ohanenye.

Those cleared are: Bola Tinubu, Yemi Osibanjo, Rotimi Amaechi, Ahmed Lawan, Yahaya Bello, Kayode Fayemi, Emeka Nwajiuba, Ogbonnaya Onu, Ibikunle Amosun, David Umahi, Abubakar Badaru, Godswill Akpabio and Tein Jack Rich.
