The National PDP Professionals and Business Group, NPPBG, has hailed Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, on his emergence as running mate to PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
The NPPBG is a group of professionals in various fields of endeavour strongly aligned to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
In a statement signed by National Co-ordinator of the NPPBG, Chief (Amb) Chuks Ajaelu, PHF, KSC, and National Publicity Secretary, Hon Gladys Amiandamhen, the group stated that the choice of Gov Okowa as Atiku’s running mate is commendable.
The NPPBG described “Gov Okowa as a true party man, committed to the ideals of the PDP, a round peg in a round hole, with the required capacity to effectively complement our party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to secure victory for our great party in 2023
“Gov Okowa is a man of many parts, a seasoned and grassroot politician, known for his doggedness and relentless commitment to the ideals of the PDP and for a better Nigeria.
“The NPPBG strongly support and align with Atiku/Okowa ticket, which is the sure route for the PDP to the presidency in 2023” the statement stated.
