EPL: Sell Me, I will Not Play Europa League- Ronaldo Tells Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of Manchester United, if a satisfactory offer comes his way.

The UK Times reports that the Portuguese star had asked the Red Devils to let him go, saying his decision is driven by his desire to play in the Champions league for the remainder of his career.

Ronaldo has never played in the Europa league in his career, a competition in which the Red Devils will feature this season, after they could only finish sixth in the premier league.

He has rather participated in the Europe’s top tier competition for the last 19 consecutive seasons since he left Sporting Lisbon in 2003. The 37 year old has made 183 appearances in the Champions league, scoring 140 goals and provided 42 assists.
