Prince Alex Mbata: The Relevant Choice

BY NZE JAMES CHINOYEREM

Prince Alex Mbata became the Imo East (Owerri Zone) Senatorial District APC candidate because of hard work, discipline, philanthropic programs, sociopolitical clout, sagacity, knowledge of current national trends, needs of the people and community torch bearings. He has always been marked out as a great and rare son of Owerri Zone who has consistently shown full awareness of the community values. He does not just talk the talks, he works the talks.

Beyond personal and community services, he remains humble, honest, dutiful, friendly, courageous, intelligent with full and appreciable knowledge of community and national issues. He is young and represents the quest for the paradigm shift in the political landscapes. Prince Alex Mbata comes with new sociopolitical ideas, ideologies and philosophy summed up in the mantra, *NEW FACE, NEW VISION, NEW OPPORTUNITIES, PAM IS TRUSTWORTHY AND CONSISTENT* He is indeed, a fresh breath of air in the choked political atmosphere in Owerri Zone.

A peel of his sociopolitical and economic layers shows he is really committed and altruistic. His dedication to do good to all people without discrimination is evident. This is glaring in his record of achievements as a private person which speaks volumes of his capacity to do more good in public office. In all his speeches and engagements, he remains courteous, focused, bright and visionary cutting to the cores of the issues. His speeches are not vainglorious, bombastic or deceitful, they are measured, productively succinct and relevant to the needs of the people and issues at stake. He doesn’t abuse people nor makes frivolous remarks about them. He is no fan of njakiri as a political ploy. He doesn’t speak because of the sounds of his voice but because of the sense of his words.

Prince Alex Mbata is no doubt, the relevant choice for the Imo East (Owerri Zone) Senatorial District position because he is the new face of values we have sought over the years, a new consciousness, vision, mission to change the poor narratives of representations in the Zone.

He favours the force of reasons rather than the reasons of force. A patient listener and team player, he is always result driven. He is the only one among the lot in the race for the Senate seat that has landmark achievements and the  capacity to meet the needs and demands of the office selflessly.

A brief recap of his personal efforts and capacities in community developments across Owerri Zone will suffice here :
1.He built one of the biggest and best factories in Owerri to complement the economic growth of Imo State. The factory, ABM Global Factory has over the years, offered quality employments to hundreds of people in Owerri Zone and beyond.

2. Built the biggest and finest private estate in Owerri. Another great contribution to the economic stimulus in the state.

3. Has his major investments in Imo State, particularly in Owerri Zone.

4. Personally funded and constructed over 10 kilometers of quality stone based roads with drainage systems and lights.

5. Funded the renovations of schools across Owerri Zone over the years.

6. Has empowered over 10,000 sons and daughters of Owerri Zone to start and/or sustain their businesses.

7. Sponsored and still sponsoring sons and daughters of Owerri Zone in different levels of education.

8. Consistently assisted faith based organizations.

These and more are track records that are verifiable. No doubt, Prince Alex Mbata will do more when elected to represent Owerri Zone in the Senate. As we say in the local parlance, Owerri Zone people will follow the man *wey sabi de road* that man is Prince Alex Mbata. He is the relevant choice for Nde Owerri Zone come 2023.
