One of the major points in the campaign message of Imo East APC Senatorial candidate, Prince Alex Mbata, is a new vision for Owerri zone. Such vision is anchored on the basis that the zone is in dire need of a Senator, who would not only give the zone a strong voice, but one who would guarantee a representation that would make a difference for the people of the zone.

Aside the Imo State government, Mbata, the silent achiever, is the highest and largest contributor to human development in Owerri zone. He contributed significantly to infrastructural development of the zone via the construction of 3km road with street lights in the heart of Owerri Municipal and in Ngowma Obube, in Owerri North Local Government Area.
Humanitarian deeds has been Mbata’s watchword.It is his passion for his people. Through his several life changing humanitarian programmes, he has given hope and succour to thousands of despondent persons in Owerri zone and beyond. He has to his credit, an enviable record of embarking on the largest human development initiative in Owerri zone, which culminated in the empowerment of over 5,000 persons across the nine local governments in the zone.
