2023: PDP, Labour Party Stand No Chance, Will Crumble In Imo, Says APC Chieftain

by admin

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Imo State, Hon Frank Ekezie, has said the Peoples Democratic Party,  PDP and the Labour party, stand no chance to defeat the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state in the 2023 general elections.

“We will chew PDP and the Labour party like crackers biscuit in Imo State.

“What I imply is that they stand no chance to outpace the APC, because elections are not about media noise or make-believe. Its about planning and political engagement” Ekezie, a one time Councillor told INNONEWS in Owerri.

He continued “We in the APC, are victims of the worst type of propaganda and it will not stand the test of time when we unveil our scorecard in the state in the past three years. The narratives will change. The people will be able to differentiate the truth and falsehood.

He said it is not true, that the APC is losing faith over the growing popularity of the Labour party in the state and beyond, stating that the governing party have what it takes to win all elective positions in the state in 2023.

“The APC has not performed badly in Imo, because we have performed above average. There is no sector in the state- security, education, healthcare, roads rehabilitation that has not received adequate attention since the APC administration of Hope Uzodimma came on board. It is not yet uhuru, but we are certainly on track.

“We may not have attained 100 percent in delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the State, but we have not performed badly as being portrayed by the opposition.

Ekezie further noted that the APC posses quality and credible candidates capable of winning elections in the state in 2023, stating that the PDP and Labour party are parading expiring politicians.

“Who are those in the Labour party?. Expiring politicians? Those who lost relevance in the APC and in the PDP and are seeking for political refuge, and they found accommodation in the Labour party? Majority of them are hiding under Peter Obi to advance their political cause.

“The PDP is a den of political misfits. They don’t have the capacity to dismantle the APC in the State because we have what it takes to gain the confidence of the people, who are enlightened enough to make comparative assessment between the seven months of the PDP administration and the three years in office of the present administration” Ekezie stated.
