Imo APC Kicks Off Maiden Town Hall Meeting In Owerri North

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State chapter, at the weekend, kicked off its maiden Town Hall Meeting in Owerri North Local Government Area in Imo State, as part of measures geared towards securing victory for the party in the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

The meeting had in attendance top party leaders, stakeholders and members, which  include the party State Chairman, Mac Donald Ebere, APC Imo East Senatorial candidate, Prince Alex Mbata,  Owerri Zone APC Apex leader, Prince Lemmy Akakem, businessman, Chief Henry Njoku (Harritex), SA Political to the Governor of Imo State, Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu, State Commissioner for Power, Lady Ann Dozie, party candidates for various elective offices, and members of the State Working Committee of the party.

In his opening remarks, the Special Adviser (Political) to the Governor, Barr Enyinnaya Onuegbu, expressed confidence on the ability of the APC to win the 2023 general elections in the State.

He implored party members to shun rancour and division among them and work for the success of the party.

“Our victory will begin from Owerri North. We are determined to win and if we must win, we must reduce conflict or division among us. We must stay focused” he said

In his remarks, the State Chairman, Mac Donald Ebere, outlined a six point agenda aimed at driving the party to success at the forthcoming elections. He called for synergy among party chieftains, assuring that the APC remains the party to beat in the State.

The APC Imo East Senatorial candidate, Prince Alex Mbata, said the victory is on the door step of the party, urging all party members to close ranks and work for its success.

The Town hall meeting was attended by many party chieftains, stakeholders and members of the party in Owerri North LGA.
