The human rights of the people of Imo State will continue to be paramount to the Imo State Government.
This was disclosed by Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma
Uzodimma reinstated his continued commitment to the protection of human rights of Ndi Imo at the opening of the 2022 Imo Justice Summit at the Sam Mbakwe Hall of Concord Hotel Owerri.
The Governor added that his commitments have been matched with actions in the signing of several human rights related bills in the State.
While recalling the reforms made by his administration especially the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, the Governor commended the choice of theme which is “Towards Effective Justice delivery System in Imo State”.
He also assured them of the commitment of his administration to work in synergy with the Judiciary.
