The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA candidate for Owerri North State Assembly, Hon Chief (Barr) Onyekachi Madukaji (Igwekala Obilimba), has given reasons why he is the best among other candidates, to be elected the next member to represent Owerri North in the Imo State House of Assembly.
Madukaji in an interview, said he is the most popular candidate in the contest, having earned the respect and acceptability of the good people of Owerri North.
He said he has taken his message and campaign to all the nooks and crannies of Owerri North, where he received massive and overwhelming support from the people for his aspiration.
“I have moved around and transversed the 243 booths, 4 blocs, 14 wards and 21 autonomous communities that make up Owerri North Local Government Area.
By peoples assessment,not my assessment, they said I have done well and deserve to be elected the next House member for Owerri North. Our people in various communities have given testimony of what i have done and they are ready to attest to it” he noted.
Madukaji, a legal practitioner, a human rights activist, an acclaimed international speaker, and Co-ordinator, of all President Generals in Imo State, said he has aided the people of Owerri North in several ways by attracting transformers to various communities, roads and gave aids to several people to enable them travel, hold burials, weddings and naming ceremonies.
He pointed out that he also leveraged on his position, as Chairman of all President Generals in Owerri North, to assist men, women and youths in Owerri North and beyond.
“People in Owerri North and beyond can attest to the fact that I m truthful, steadfast and can be trusted. I m the most popular candidate in the contest. I have family ties across various communities in Owerri North namely Egbu, Naze, Awaka and Obibiezena. I m an in law to Orji and Egbelu communities.
“Infact, I am the Peter Obi of Owerri North. I m hopeful that I will win the State Assembly election because my people know my antecedents. Several groups and churches have already endorsed my aspiration. I m one that can be trusted” he stated.
He stated that at the moment, the Federal Government is renovating several roads in the area because of his timely his intervention over the poor state of roads in the area.
