The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Monday released the full list of 240 polling units where elections will not hold in the country.
INEC Chairman, Mahmoud Yakubu, had made the disclosure at a meeting with leaders of 18 political parties at the Commission’s headquarters on Monday.
On its verified facebook handle, the Commission released the polling units affected in Imo,Edo, Kwara, Rivers and Zamfara States.
In Imo State, elections will not take place in 28 polling units across 12 local governments
They are: Aboh Mbaise (4), Ezinihitte Mbaise (1), Ideato North (2), Isiala Mbano (1), Isu (1), Njaba (1), Ohaji/Egbema (5), Orlu (5), Orsu (7), Oru East (6), Owerri North (3) and Owerri Municipal (1).
