Aftermath Of Feb 25 Election: We Have Saboteurs In Imo APC-Uzodimma

Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo State, Sunday, lambasted some members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who exhibited lackadaisical behaviour during the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections in the State.

Addressing a congregation at Government House Chapel, Sunday, he accused some members of the party of sabotage.

Apparently disappointed with the attitude of those entrusted with the task to ensure victory for the party, Uzodimma described as “the highest level of sabotage”, a situation some party faithful shied away from responsibilities assigned to them and preffered sitting on the fence.

“Those who witheld resources mapped out for elections or went to a corner to hide showed the highest level of sabotage. They should not sabotage themselves, because both God and government see such bad behaviour”

He called on the people of Imo State to come out en-masse and vote in the State Assembly election, now scheduled for March 18.

“Government is about the people. You should not be discouraged because your preferred Presidential candidate or any other candidate for that matter did not win the last election. You should see reasons to come out and vote on Saturday” he declared.
