The Imo State Police Command, Owerri, has invited former Governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, and some chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
A letter to the State Chairman of the PDP and signed by DCP Ukachu Opara, Deputy Commissioner Of Police (Admin) for Commissioner of Police, Imo State, the police said the invitation was based on its ongoing investigation of cases of murder, kidnapping and arson.
The letter reads:
“The office of State Intelligence Bureau, SIB, Imo State Police Command, State Headquarters, Owerri, is investigating the above underlined cases involving some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State chapter.
“The Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command requests you come along with the following persons.
- Hon Emeka Ihedioha
- Ugochinyere Ikenga Imo
3.Gerald Irona
“to interview the Commissioner of Police, through the officer of in charge of State Intelligence Bureau (SIB)
