The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has alerted security agencies that thugs have invaded its collation centre in Obingwa Local Government Area of the state.

“Security agencies have been alerted. The Commission is monitoring the situation and will issues a statement shortly” the electoral umpire tweeted on its official page on Sunday.
However, our Umuahia correspondent reports that collation of results for the governorship and State House of Assembly is ongoing at the time of filing this report.
