LP To Refund N25m Guber Nomination Form Fee To Anumudu Family

The family of late Humphrey Anumudu, the Labour party governorship aspirant in Imo State, will be refunded the N25m Nomination and Expression of Interest governorship from.

Anumudu had purchased the form to vie for Labour party governorship ticket before his sudden death last Friday.

National Chairman of the party, Julius Abure told newsmen in Abuja after a meeting of Assembly members elect of the party, that the party decided to return the nomination fee to the family of the deceased to show empathy and compassion.

“You will recall that one of our aspirants in Imo State lost his life. I am pleased to announce to members of the public and members of the Labour Party family and his immediate family that the party will refund the nomination fee of N25m that he spent

“We feel sorry that we need to do this to support the family and show leadership of compassion, of empathy and that is what the Labour party stands for” he said
