The All Progressives Congress, APC, has won 26 State House of Assembly seats in Imo State.
A statement released on Sunday by the State INEC Commissioner, Prof (Mrs) Slyvia Agu confirmed that the governing party won in 26 local governments, except Ahiazu Mbaise, which was declared inconclusive and fresh polls to be held at a later date.
A total of six current members of the State Assembly were re- elected.
Among those re -elected are Deputy Speaker, Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu (Nwangele), Majority Leader, Kanayo Onyemaechi (Owerri West) and others.
