The Imo State Co-ordinator, Atiku/Okowa Volunteer Groups Management Team (AVGMT) Chief (Amb) Chuks Ajaelu, JP, has congratulated Senator Samuel Anyanwu, (Sam Daddy), on his emergence as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State.
In his congratulatory message, Ajaelu, who is also a chieftain of the party and a two time Chairmanship aspirant of the PDP in the State, said the victory of Senator Anyanwu at the PDP governorship primary, is a reflection of the undiluted confidence by teeming party members on his capacity to lead the PDP to retake power from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State.
Part of the message reads “Senator Anyanwu is a man of exceptional quality, a fine gentleman, a political tactician with an inelastic ability to lead the PDP in Imo State to victory in the November 11, 2023 governorship election
“The PDP in Imo State made a perfect choice in electing Senator Anyanwu as its governorship candidate.
“The people of Imo State are now confident that with Senator Anyanwu in the forefront of the battle to liberate the people of the state, the party has been fully energized to cruise to victory.
“On behalf of AVGMT, we are resolute in our support for the PDP governorship candidate in Imo State and assure of our unrelenting support to his success in the forthcoming governorship election” the statement stated.
