APC Candidate, Akarachi Emerges Winner Of Mbaitoli/Ikeduru Reps Seat

Amadi Akarachi, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been declared winner of re run polls for Ikeduru/Mbaitoli Federal Constituency.

Akarachi defeated his closest challenger, Uche Ogbuagu of the Labour Party.

Announcing the results at INEC Collation Centre, at Nwaorieubi, the Returning Officer, Boniface Okoro, said the APC candidate got a total of 21, 372 votes, while candidate of the Labour party scored a total of 18, 296 votes.

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA and incumbent member representing the Federal Constituency, Henry Nwawuba, scored 7,202 votes to place a distant third
