Uzodimma Inaugurates Imo Shared Prosperity Youth Movement

The Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma has inaugurated the Shared Prosperity Youth movement (SPYM) which consists of 305 Ward Coordinators, 21 Executive members in each LGA, 21 State Executive officers as well as student wing and Non- indigenes.

Governor Uzodimma at the inaugural ceremony held at Rockview Hotel, Owerri reaffirmed the need for his administration’s priority for youth inclusiveness in policies and politics which will help them be self-sufficient, economically and others.

The Governor charged them to be the citadel of youth progress in Imo State. According to him, “You have to take your destiny into your own hands, define it and call it the name you want”

He reassured them that the Shared Prosperity Government will continue to provide the enabling environment, ensure security and challenge them to develop their appetite for success.

Speaking earlier,  the Special Adviser on Youth Affairs, Hon. Eric Uwakwe assured the Governor of their readiness to access the grassroots and take the gospel of Shared Prosperity to them.
