First Time Lawmaker Emerges Speaker, Imo Assembly

A first time lawmaker, Chike Olemgbe, has emerged the Speaker of the 10th Imo State House of Assembly.

Olemgbe represents Ihitte Uboma State Constituency.

Amara Iwuanyanwu retained his position as Deputy Speaker of the House

They emerged after the Clerk of the Assembly, Chinelo Emeghara, had declared the House open for nominations after the proclamation reading from the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
