Phillips Nto Has Made Us Proud, Ukwuakwu Ututu People Declare

The people of Ukwuakwu Ututu in Arochukwu local government area of Abia State has declared that the immediate past Provost of Abia State College of Education, Technical Arochukwu, Dr Philips Nto has made them proud.

They made the declaration when a delegation from the community visited Dr Nto to felicitate with him over his successful tenure as Provost.

Speaking through the leader of the delegation,Rev Nwankwo Amah Okore , the people said although they were not in doubt of Dr Nto’s capacity,his performance at ASCETA was legendary.

According to them, Dr Nto who is their son had always exhibited high degree of integrity, diligence and commitment since he entered public service.

According to them,” you are our son in whom we are well pleased. You have again made us proud through your superlative performance at ASCETA. You did the same thing when you were Commissioner for Finance. Even as you are going back to your teaching job at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike MOUAU,we know you will continue to excel”

They urged the former Provost to remain devoted in the discharge of any assignment given to him, praying that God will always place him in leadership positions in his life.

Responding,Dr Nto said he was overwhelmed by the outpouring of genuine love from his people whom he described as his back bone.

According to him,by the visit he has become a prophet honoured at home, saying that gesture will continue to inspire him the more.

Dr Philips Nto described his tenure as Provost of ASCETA as challenging,but glorified God for seeing him through.

He however urged his people to rally round the administration of Gov Alex Otti whom he said will come up with measures to lift ASCETA to a greater height.

He noted that with the infrastructure he has put in place in the College and number of academic staff who are training in ivory league foreign universities , it was now qualified to be converted to a university.

While pledging to remain humble and honest in his official and private life, Dr Nto informed his people that he has already resumed duties at MOUAU and solicited their prayers for his continued success. He further noted that Ukwuakwu Ututu will always receive priority attention in his endeavour.
