Ahead of the November 11 governorship election in Imo State, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has re tooled it’s campaign machinery in a bid to win the polls.
The party’s governorship candidate, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, in a statement signed by his Principal Secretary, Arthur Ekwelem, announced the appointment of a member of House of Representatives, Hon Ikenga Ugochinyere, as Chairman of the party’s campaign council.
Ugochinyere is an avowed critic of Governor Hope Uzodimma of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Other members of the Council include; another member of the House of Reps, Hon Ugonna Ozuruigbo, Hon Ngozi Ogbu, Hon Chidi Ibe and Hon Marshall Okoroafor Anyanwu, who will serve as Secretary of the Council.
