Hope Uzodimma, governor of Imo State, has received a major boost for his second term bid after key stakeholders in Orlu zone endorsed his re election.
The stakeholders endorsed the governor at the Orlu Development Summit held at Nkwerrre and attended by prominent indigenes and stakeholders in Orlu zone.
Uzodimma, in his reaction, commended the people of Orlu zone for their show of support and acceptability.
He pledged to the stakeholders that he will not take for granted the faith they have placed in him.
He said that God had planned for him to take office in order to free the slave state of Imo.
“We needed to unlock the door to let Imo State out, so I did that right away. It is still being worked on.
“You’ve seen what I’ve accomplished in less than four years; just think of what I could accomplish in eight years.”he declared.
