NLC To Embark On Warning Strike Sept 5

The leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has announced that a warning strike will begin on September 5, 2023, in protest of the unfathomable suffering that Nigerians are currently going through as a result of the policy of subsidy withdrawal.

Joe Ajaero, President of the NLC, made the announcement shortly after a meeting of the Union’s National Executive Council in Abuja.

Labour also chastised the Federal Government for interfering with the activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), promising to take all necessary steps to prevent additional interfering in the future.

The Imo State Government was also accused by the NLC of interfering and meddling into the affairs of labour in the State.
