Wilfred Ndidi, a midfielder for Leicester City, has praised his outstanding goal in Leicester City’s 4-1 victory over Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium last Friday.

In the final minutes of the first half, Ndidi scored for the Foxes.

After receiving a pass from Stephy Mavididi, the 26-year-old dribbled past his defender and put the ball in the goal.

“The body shape, you know, was great when Stephy had the ball facing the goal! It had a striker’s instinct in it, Ndidi said, according to the club’s official website.

“So, with that being said, my body shape, I got the ball with my left foot and tried to shoot, faked it, and you know what it is.”

The Nigerian international has scored three goals for Leicester City this season across all competitions.
