Oguta/Urashi River: Uzodimma Receives Pre Dredging Report From Nigerian Navy

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, has received the hydrographic and comprehensive bathymetric/investigative survey report of the charting of the Oguta Lake to the Atlantic Ocean from the Nigerian Navy.

Receiving the report at Government House, Owerri, Uzodimma praised the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and the Hydrographer of the Nigerian Navy, Rear Admiral Ayo Olugbode, for their meticulous work and dedication to the success of the project.

Uzodimma expressed his willingness to harness the natural resources in the state, such as natural gas, which, he noted, would create jobs, stimulate the economy, and foster private sector partnership.

He promised to collaborate with the Nigerian Navy and a consortium of partners to ensure the success of the project.
