The governor commended the marketers for their uninterrupted service delivery to the people of Imo State, despite the challenges they encounter.

He advocated for more patriotic service from them, though he acknowledged they are in business for profit.

He assured them that he would look into their appeal for land allocation to enable them to build their corporate office.

Chairman of the Marketers, Sir Chidiebere Okoroafor, who spoke on behalf of members, appealed to the governor to facilitate an interface with Walter Smith Petroleum Limited for more allocation of refined products to members of the union in the state to ensure improved service availability to the people of Imo State.

Chidiebere commended the governor for the warm reception and assured of a harmonious relationship with the state government, as they will put the interests of Imo people above other considerations.
