The immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor on Election Management, Chief Sir Martins Ejiogu (Ochendo), has stressed that the Governor will consolidate democracy dividends to make Imo people experience more goodness as he governs the state for another four years.

He posited that he has the confidence in the Governor to efficiently, wonderfully turn Imo around economically and socially because he is firmly committed to redeem the state for the betterment of the people having performed well in his first tenure despite challenges of insecurity.

Ejiogu gave the assurance for better days in Imo with Uzodimma in an interview with journalists after receiving “Shared Prosperity Ambassador Merit Award” from Imo Progressive Movement (IPM), at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, on Wednesday.

Stating that the Governor is very genuine, meek, kind, believes so much in lifting humanity positively for goodness, comfort and security, the former Deputy Chairman of PDP assured that Uzodimma is going to turn Imo around socially, commercially, industrially and educationally for even development.

“You can see what he has done in his first tenure. When people were busy antagonizing him, Uzodimma was busy working and bringing Imolites together to live in peace and prosperity. Imo is going to experience a wonderful turnaround in his second term and I believe him”, Ejiogu maintained.

Ejiogu, who expressed delight for being meritoriously honored by IPM over his salient contributions to the reelection of Hope Uzodimma who he defined as a God-sent to Imo State, vowed that he will continue to lend credence to the Shared Prosperity Government as it reconstructs, rehabilitates, recovers Imo State.

While thanking IPM for the accolade, the Leader of Imo G7 mentioned that the National Convener of IPM and Member representing Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West Federal Constituency in the House of Reps, Hon. Eugene Dibiagwu, his political associate, is very thoughtful and visionary, hence he initiated the forum, which he reflected encouraged people to support and reelect the APC into Government.

Ejiogu identified Eugene Dibiagwu as a dogged politician, recapping that he stood by Dibiagwu when Rochas Okorocha refused the Imo State House of Assembly to swear him in as member for Oguta State Constituency, “because I know what Eugene Dibiagwu can do. He is a good man and a great mobilizer. I promise I will always and efficiently support the Governor to succeed in redeeming Imo State”.
