Prominent Imo Traditional Ruler Is Dead

Eze Akujobi David Osuagwu, revered traditional ruler of Awaka Ancient Kingdom in Owerri North Local Government Area of Imo State has passed on.

The late monarch, who served as Vice Chairman of the Imo State Council Of Traditional Rulers and Chairman of the Owerri Zone Council of Traditional Rulers, passed away on February 13, 2024, following a brief illness.

A statement released by Prince Obinna Osuagwu and Prince Ndubuisi Osuagwu, son and brother of the deceased respectively, conveyed the sad news.

According to the statement also endorsed by Mr Nnodim David Osuagwu, the family plans to announce burial arrangements for the late monarch in due course.
