The Imo State Government has debunked reports circulating in the media regarding the emergence of a supposed second batch of commissioner nominees.

According to a statement from the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma, Oguwuike Nwachukwu, the public is urged to disregard the fabricated list, which is believed to be the work of detractors.

According to him, no such list exists, refuting claims of any submissions made to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.

“It’s regrettable that once again, a fake list has been concocted and circulated, this time falsely associating my name with it,” stated Nwachukwu, highlighting the deceptive tactics employed by those responsible.

He further asserted that the Governor is resolute in his commitment to selecting qualified individuals who align with the vision for Imo State, dismissing any attempts to derail the process through misinformation and blackmail.

He called on the public to remain vigilant against the machinations of political opportunists, reaffirming the Governor’s determination to advance the state’s interests despite such underhanded tactics.
