Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has made significant changes to his administration, appointing his brother, Ferdinand Uzodinma, as Deputy Chief of Staff, CoS, General Services.
The Governor also retained Cosmos Iwu as the Secretary to the State Government, reinforcing continuity in key positions.
The announcement, made by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachukwu, also announced the reappointment of Barr Nnamdi Anyaehie as Chief of Staff, alongside Dr Patrick Ekeji and Barr Olisaemeka Sydney as Deputy Chiefs of Staff.
Alao, Mr Sam Anyalewechi Nwaobasi has been confirmed as Special Adviser to the Governor on Programme and Policy Implementation Monitoring.
Ferdinand Uzodinma before his appointment, was a former councilor, Transition Committee Chairman, and Sole Administrator of Oru East Local Government Area.
These appointments come on the heels of the House of Assembly’s confirmation of 12 commissioners for the Governor.
