Nigerian forward Ibrahim Hafiz Umar, aged 18, has opted for a trial stint with Chelsea over joining FK Bodø/Glimt, despite a €500k club-to-club deal being in place.
This was revealed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on his Facebook account.
According to him, the decision rests with Chelsea as Hafiz prepares for a trial period starting next week, transitioning from the Ojodu City Academy.
