APC South East Summit: Arodiogbu Lists Tinubu’s Plans To End Economic Hardship

Hails Uzodimma over quality leadership

The South East National Vice Chairman of APC, Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC are working efficiently and proactively to implement their human-oriented policies to end economic hardship in the country.

Arodiogbu added that the ruling party is working fairly and in tandem with economists and relevant stakeholders to ensure that forces that give rise to economic challenges in the country are tackled critically so that things stabilize for enhanced goodness, progress, peace, and prosperity.

He stated this when he addressed APC members during the APC South East Executive Committee and Stakeholders Meeting, held at the Landmarks Event Center, Owerri, on Tuesday.

Arodiogbu remarked that the mantra of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President is already yielding positive fruits as economic hardship is gradually reducing, adding that the critical measures taken to strengthen the economy show that the ruling party is truly working for humanity and Nigeria.

“I believe that the policies of the APC administration aimed at ending the current economic hardship in the country are being effectively implemented. Measures that are germane have been taken to rejig the economy. Hence, I urge all citizens to continue to bear the pains we are facing now because I see light at the end of the tunnel and hope will be restored.”.

He begged all APC leaders to encourage the members to indulge in the e-rregistration of the party, which he said will soon take off, advising that ordinary members of the party should be empowered by those who occupy political positions instead of empowering the opposition, affirming that if poor members are economically empowered, anti-party activities would stop or reduce in the APC circle.

The South East APC National Vice Chairman said he was happy that the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, is doing wonderfully, especially in the areas of infrastructure, education, commerce and industry, security, and youth empowerment.

“The Governor is doing greatly in Imo State, particularly on road construction, youth empowerment, and security; hence, he won 27 over 27 during the Imo gubernatorial election. He has contributed enough resources to the growth and success of the party in the region. The new government will do more. The APC has achieved great success in the Southeast. We are making more effort towards inclusiveness and reintegration into the national grid. The meeting held on April 2, 2024, symbolizes the collective commitment of the APC in bringing the party together as well as charting a course towards the progress and prosperity of the  zone,” Arodiogbu maintained.

He thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma, his Deputy, Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Senators, Rep Members, Ministers, and Chairmen of APC in Ebonyi, Imo, Anambra, Enugu, and Abia States, among other dignitaries, for attending the meeting, which he noted recorded a mammoth crowd.
