Gale Of Defections Hit Imo PDP, Stakeholders, Others Quit Party After Ihedioha’s Exit

Gale of defections has hit the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic party, PDP.

Several key stakeholders and thousands of members have quit the party, following the footsteps of former governor Emeka Ihedioha, who quit the party early this week.

A list seen by INNONEWS in Owerri shows that all loyalists of Ihedioha, who hold strategic positions in the party from the ward to the State levels have resigned from the party.

Among them include former deputy governor, Gerald Irona and immediate past State Chairman of the Party, Engr Charles Ugwu.
