The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has resolved to appoint an expatriate Technical Adviser for the Super Eagles.
This decision was made during the Executive Committee meeting of the Federation held on June 12, 2024.
The appointment is aimed at improving the team’s performance ahead of the AFCON 2025 qualifiers and the remaining FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
The NFF said it is committed to providing the necessary support to ensure the success of the team.
Additionally, the Technical Department will be strengthened with more qualified personnel to support the Technical Adviser.
The committee also expressed displeasure with the poor attitude of some players and decided to implement a more robust scouting programme to identify talented Nigeria-eligible players worldwide.
