Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has reassigned commissioners to new roles in a minor cabinet reshuffle on Thursday.
Aside from assigning portfolios to the newly sworn-in five commissioners, a few others were reassigned.
Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu now heads the Ministry of Youth Development and Talent Hunt, while Hon. Obinna E. Onyeocha leads the Ministry of Sports.
Sports was separated from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development.
Dr. Chika Abazu Benson has been reassigned to Trade, Commerce, and Investment to the Transport Ministry, as Barr. Rex Anunobi takes over the Trade, Commerce, and Investment portfolio.
