Owerri Old Faces International, a prominent socio-club based in Owerri, Imo State, is gearing up for its executive election on July 20, 2024.
The election will see the selection of new executives to fill twelve positions, with ten of them being unopposed.
The positions include: Assistant Organizing Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Assistant Welfare, Welfare, Provost, PRO, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, Secretary, and President.
However, the offices of Vice President and Financial Secretary will be contested by two aspirants each.
Prior to the election, a five-member Electoral Committee led by Mrs. Nancy Nkwopara conducted a thorough screening exercise, disqualifying some aspirants who failed to meet the criteria.to contest.
The successful candidates presented their manifestos last week, outlining their plans, mission, and vision for the club if elected.
The election will take place at Admiral Gardens, Aladinma, Owerri, Imo State, on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at 10 am.
The Electoral Committee’s statement urged members to come out and exercise their voting rights to ensure a successful and peaceful election.
