The Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has concluded the sale of forms for the upcoming local government elections in the state.
According to a release signed by the Organizing Secretary, Barr. Gozie Nwachukwu, the sales of forms ended on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
The party has also announced the schedule of activities leading up to the primaries.
The screening of Chairmanship aspirants will hold on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at the party’s State Secretariat on 98 Okigwe Road, Owerri, while the screening of Councillorship aspirants will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at the same venue.
The Chairmanship and Councillorship primaries have been slated for July 19 and July 20, respectively.
The part uurged all aspirants, stakeholders, and members to comply with the timetable.
To ensure a smooth process, the party has also set up committees to screen the aspirants.
