Igbo Bu Ike International has received with profound sadness the news of the passing of Chief (Engr) Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, President General, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide.
The organization described the late Iwuanyanwu as a visionary leader, a true patriot, and a champion of Igbo cause.
Saint Paul Anyalebechi and Chief Chukwudi Opara, President General and Vice President General of Igbo Bu Ike International, in a statement, expressed heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, the people of Imo State and the entire Igbo nation over the sudden death of Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of this great icon, who dedicated his life to the service of Igbos,” part of the statement said.
The group praised Iwuanyanwu’s tireless efforts towards national unity and peace, describing him as a guiding light in turbulent times for Igbo nation.
“Iwuanyanwu’s leadership and wisdom will be greatly missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us in the quest for a peaceful and united Nigeria” the statement stated.
Igbo Bu Ike International urged the family to take comfort in the knowledge that the late Iwuanyanwu lived a life of purpose and service to humanity.
The organization also commended Iwuanyanwu’s contributions to the development of Imo State and the Igbo nation, saying his impact will be felt for generations to come.
“May his soul rest in peace, and may God grant his family the fortitude to bear this immense loss,”
