A former coach of Heartland FC of Owerri, Christian Obi, has died in a road accident involving members of the team on Friday
The accident took place on the team’s way to Abakaliki, Ebonyi State for the Ifeanyi Ekwueme TICO/ Select Pre Season tournament.
The accident occured at Umunna close to Okigwe in Imo State.
A source in the team quoted the Imo FA Chairman, Ifeanyi Dike, to have confirmed the demise of the ex coach who was also involved in the road mishap
