Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has stated that the Nigerian international still has unfinished business in Europe, amid rumours of a lucrative offer from a Saudi club.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Roberto Calenda emphasized that Osimhen has no intention of leaving Europe just yet.
“Victor is not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets,” Calenda said. “We need respect and balance in any negotiations.”
Calenda highlighted Osimhen’s impressive achievements in Europe, including being elected African Footballer of the Year and finishing 8th in the Ballon d’Or.
“Victor has made history in Europe, and we’re not done yet,” Calenda stated.
“He still has so much to achieve, and we’re committed to making that happen.”he stated.
When asked about the Saudi offer, Calenda emphasized that Osimhen’s priority is to succeed in Europe.
“We’ve always accepted the club’s decisions, even when there were major offers,” Calenda said. “Victor is a Napoli player, and we’re happy with that.”
Calenda’s statement has put to rest rumors of an imminent move to Saudi Arabia, with Osimhen set to continue his journey in Europe.
“Victor’s future is in Europe, and we’re excited to see what the future holds,” Calenda concluded.
