Hon Ebere Chukwuemeka, popularly known as ABJ, has declared his intention to run for the position of Executive Chairman of Owerri Municipal.
ABJ, the PDP Owerri Chairmanship candidate, for the September 21, 2024 Imo local government election addressed his supporters in Owerri, outlining his vision for the council.
He highlighted some of his achievements during his previous seven-month tenure as Chairman, which include re-roofing the council headquarters and setting up Owerri Municipal Security guards.
ABJ also stated that during his short tenure he ensured the completion of Owerri Plaza at Tetlow Road, tarred some roads in the council premises, constructed new toilets at the council headquarters, and attracted five transformers to five locations in the council.
He emphasized his commitment to continuing the good work he started, by renovating dilapidated infrastructure, and achieving more for the municipality
ABJ’s supporters at the declaration ceremony were optimistic about his candidacy, citing his past accomplishments and achievements.
