The Diamond Brothers Club International gathered to pay their respects to Grand Patron Chidi Ewurum (Cadinal) as he laid his sister, Mathilda Ewurum, to rest at Nze Godwin Ewurum’s compound in Ezike Osuachara, Isiala Mbano LGA, Imo State. Mathilda Ewurum was 72 years old.
Lord Mayor Uchenna Anozie, Chancellor Chidi Anyanwu (Apex), and Chancellor Douglas Alozie (Arusi Mbaise) arrived from South Africa to condole with the Grand Patron, while Duke of Nigeria Branch Chief Chijioke Nwanneri (Apiti) led the Nigerian members.
In an interview, Lord Mayor Anozie expressed his condolences, stating, “The mourner, Cadinal, has remained a strong pillar of Diamond Brothers, and what touches him, touches every member, due to his benevolence and magnanimous heart.”
He further added, “On behalf of the entire Diamond brotherhood, may our condolences bring Cadinal comfort, and may our prayers ease the pain of this loss. The memories of late Mathilda will never be forgotten.”
