Owerri West Chairman, Vice, Councilors Will Live Up To Expectations, Says APC Chieftain, Onyeneke

APC stalwart and former Special Adviser to Imo Governor on Public Orientation, Chief Dr. Fidel Onyeneke, has expressed optimism that the new Chairman of Owerri West Local Government of Imo State, Hon. Victor Osigwe, will restore the lost dignity of the Council area and provide the masses with the expected dividends of democracy.

In a congratulatory message to Hon. Osigwe, the Vice Chairman, and the ten elected councillors in Owerri West, Chief Onyeneke said that the Executive Chairman possesses the qualities and experience to render the appropriate services that would further elevate the status and living conditions of the people.

He described the Council Chairman as an astute administrator who would liberate the rural dwellers from economic hardship and stagnation.

Chief Onyeneke said that the emergence of Chief Victor Osigwe as the Chairman would add immense value to deliberate efforts geared towards accelerating the socio-political and economic growth of Owerri West and reaffirmed that the people would reap greatly from the hard work and dedication of the new Executive Chairman.

The Media Relations Consultant also urged the Vice-Chairnan of the local government, Hon Prince Ossy Amako, the Councillor for Avu/Oforola Ward 1, Hon Paschal Okoro, and all the other Councillors in Owerri West to work in unity as members of one family in order to alleviate the suffering and poor situation of the masses

He charged them to see their positions as an opportunity to contribute positively towards the development of mankind and humanity.

He also urged Hon. Osigwe and the Councillors not to relent in propagating the programmes and activities of Governor Hope Uzodinma, which are aimed at improving the living standards of the rural dwellers.

He advised the people of Owerri West to live up to their social obligations and cooperate with the new local government leaders to enable them to carry out their constitutional duties for the benefit of the electorate.
